Professional Photography Comes To Real Estate

Our photographers are great at taking pictures, but not so good at cleaning house. There are several simple things you can do to help them make it photograph like a model:

Remove clutter

These are things that do not match the decor of your home. i.e. Paperwork, Pens, Keys, Charging cords, Clothes, Objects on the floor, brightly colored objects that do not match, Dishes etc.

Remove personal items

These are things you use daily and don't even notice like Hair care products, Make-up, Jewelry, Used towels, visible shower items like Shampoo, Dog bowls etc.

Turn lights on

Overhead lighting and lamps as well, remember this is what gives your home that warm inviting glow. If a bulb is burned out you should replace it prior to the shoot.

Turn fans off

Sometimes it can take a camera 30 seconds to take one photo. If there is a fan in the room it will look like a flying saucer in the picture, and you will lose any detail your fan may have.

Open blinds

If you have a beautiful view you should show it off by opening up the blinds or curtains. Sometimes the view may be less than fantastic, use your best judgement.

Remove cars

Your home will show best if your car is in the garage and the garage is closed.
